In Vicenza it is easy to find something interesting to do during free time, so wide is the cultural activities: visiting the Teatro Olimpico, the art gallery in Palazzo Chiericati and the one in Palazzo Leoni Montanari, walking under the arches up to Monte Berico to observe the city from the top and visiting the Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza, are just some activities to do in our beautiful city.

Vicenza is in the hearth of Veneto region, the Italian region with the biggest tourists’ amount per year, thanks also to Venice, one of the most visited cities in the world, and to Verona, the city of love par excellence.

With a cheap ticket and in 50 minutes by train, from Vicenza you reach Venice‘s main station. An hour’s walk through calle, bridges and gondoliers bringing tourists in the canals, and you arrive in Piazza San Marco, visited yearly by 25 million people.

A little bit shorter is the trip to Verona, the city where Shakespeare set the most famous love story of all time, Romeo and Juliet. Visiting Juliet’s balcony, crossing the Adige through the romantic bridge Ponte Pietra, walking to Piazza Bra and admiring the Arena are just some of the many activities to do in this wonderful city.
